The Carroll County Information Technology Department supports all other county government offices with computer and technology related services, network development and maintenance, website development and maintenance, and Geographic Information System (GIS) development and maintenance. The goal of Carroll County GIS is to help increase the efficiency and productivity of Carroll County Government through the implementation of GIS applications and technology.

In addition to technical services, the IT Department provides assistance in training staff on software and hardware application, and provides production assistance in developing databases, spreadsheets and other applications as requested from various departments.
